"Research Shocker - Only Bush Can Defeat Obama"

Read Dr. James N. Herndon's new article on beforitsnews.com:

The only Republican who can defeat President Obama in 2012 is Jeb Bush.

This is the surprising finding of a new research study by Media Psychology Affiliates.

“Our research reveals that Romney and Gingrich have fundamental weaknesses as Republican challengers,” explains Dr. James N. Herndon of Media Psychology Affiliates.

“Obama will defeat either of these candidates by a significant margin, although Romney would have a somewhat stronger showing.”

Among the findings were the positive feelings that Jeb Bush produces with voters.

“Our research tools measure feeling trends,” says Dr. Herndon. “These feelings are the foundation of our political choices.”

“Interestingly, the Bush years are now associated with a time of far greater stability. A time of less fear and uncertainty. Voters want to recapture these more positive feelings. Jeb Bush is now the perfect political figure upon whom such feelings, and such hopes, can be projected.”

“The current trend is clear: Voters would select Jeb Bush over Barack Obama.”

The research also revealed that voters are solidly rejecting the politics of character assassination.

“The personal attacks among the Republican candidates are extremely self-destructive,” says Dr. Herndon. “One Republican attacking another Republican is a message to the voter that the whole process is really just about self-advancement.”

“Nonetheless, unless the Republicans field their strongest candidate, it’s all for nothing. So far, this is a repeat of 2008, where McCain was far from the strongest choice. Ultimately, of course, this reflects the inherent foibles of the state primary process.”

And what about Ron Paul?

“Paul is doing a very effective job of building on his 2008 momentum,” states Dr. Herndon. “But, the entrenched Republican superstructure will likely prevent his rise to the top. And, even as the nominee, our data show that Paul would lose to Obama.”

Is it smooth sailing, then, for Obama?

“Despite the painful economic situation,” explains Dr. Herndon, “Obama will continue to benefit from the rich vs. poor Democratic paradigm, which remains a broadly-felt emotion among voters…even among many Republican voters. Yet, our research still shows a number of missed opportunities for the Obama team.”

“But, naturally, there’s always the potential for a serious crisis or misstep for Obama, in which case, all bets are off.”

“Of course, if, through some unusual turn of events, Jeb Bush is ultimately selected as the Republican nominee, the Democrats should be very, very nervous.”
